Hi all : ) I’m Jaël Roy (pronounced J. L. Roy, for the English-only speakers). I won’t tell you my age, because it changes every year, but I can tell you that the secret to adulthood is that you don’t EVER get to a place where you just know what to do (or say) in any circumstance. I’m still disappointed about that. I never knew I was a writer at heart (a reader, certainly, but not a writer) until after a year or more of tests that gave me no good reason for the chronic pain I started feeling several months after the birth of my fourth (and ever irascible) child. Yes, I will admit that I am a mother of four, but as they ALSO keep getting older each year (and taller—very annoying that), their ages are not important, except to them. Very simply, I write books I like to read. I’m selfish that way. Most authors are, I imagine. I could tell you I’m a Christian author. I could tell you I like interesting characters and dialogue, and circumstances that stretch their greedy fingers into the realm of “Can that really happen?” (Why? Because with God all things are possible). If you’re looking for “real-life” or thriller-action romances I am not your author. If you just like a good story…well, I’ll let my work speak for itself. Now, I either have a book to read, a book I’m speed-writing, children to homeschool, or my husband to hang out with, so… Enjoy : )
