L. Roy, for the English-only speakers). I won\u2019t tell you my age, because it changes every year, but I can tell you that the secret to adulthood is that you don\u2019t EVER get to a place where you just know what to do (or say) in any circumstance. I\u2019m still disappointed about that. \n\nI never knew I was a writer at heart (a reader, certainly, but not a writer) until after a year or more of tests that gave me no good reason for the chronic pain I started feeling several months after the birth of my fourth (and ever irascible) child. Yes, I will admit that I am a mother of four, but as they ALSO keep getting older each year (and taller\u2014very annoying that), their ages are not important, except to them. \n\nVery simply, I write books I like to read. I\u2019m selfish that way. Most authors are, I imagine. I could tell you I\u2019m a Christian author. I could tell you I like interesting characters and dialogue, and circumstances that stretch their greedy fingers into the realm of \u201cCan that really happen?\u201d (Why? Because with God all things are possible). If you\u2019re looking for \u201creal-life\u201d or thriller-action romances I am not your author.
